March went out and April came in, both with gloriously warm sunshine bringing the green shoots and spectacular colours of spring daffodils and tulips.
We have a good number of bookings for April and into May, fully booked for Hay festival of literature and some really good bookings during the rest of the year.

We offer good value for money accommodation and despite having no ensuite once people have stayed with us they book to come back time and again, not just because of the good value but because their is so much to do in Herefordshire especially along the Welsh borders. The Small Breeds farm at Kington is full of baby animals newly born in time for Easter, a great day out for families but also for couples with its wonderful display of Owls.

National trust properties, Berrington and Croft Castle are doing Egg trails but the gardens are beginning to show their magnificent splendour. Hergest Croft Gardens is a Historic Houses association property which is open from April 1st to October 31st, they are having a spring Garden Fayre on May 1st.

Hereford city has the Cathedral complete with Mappa Mundi and chained library, the refurbished Black and White House museum and the Waterworks Museum all unique places of historical interest.
